We have a varied walk program ranging from easy day walks, through to overnight walks and extended weekend trips. Walks or activities are usually conducted every fortnight.

With the rugged Grampians so close, most of our walks are conducted within its various ranges. They offer a wide variety of terrain - from interesting rock formations, forested valleys, rugged cliffs and many beautiful waterfalls.

Walks are also conducted in areas such as The Black Ranges, Mt Arapiles and Wyperfeld National Park. Longer trips may take us to destinations such as the Victorian Alps, The Otways, other coastal regions and sometimes further afield.

Other activities may include bike riding or canoeing.

Walk Grading

All walks are graded to give you an idea of what to expect. Grading is somewhat 'relevant' to your experience and fitness level. For example, an 'easy' walk for an experienced or fit person may be a 'medium' walk for a beginner or not so fit person. The following guide may help to give an idea of what to expect.

EASY  Approx 3 - 4 hour walk, mainly on walking trails with very few steep slopes or little rock scrambling.

MEDIUM  Approx 5 - 6 hour walk on moderate slopes, possibly involving some off-trail 'bush bashing' and/or rock scrambling.

HARD  We'll leave it to your imagination!

REMEMBER

Wherever we go or whatever we do, the main requirement is to bring along a sense of adventure and good humour.
